Makato is a world renowned luthier who very rarely attends public events. Not only is he attending, but he’s offering to setup any ones Takamines guitars …completely free of charge!

Takamine UK & Ireland and Fair Deal Music are excited to announce an exclusive evening event this month, taking place in Fair Deal Music’s brand new megastore in the heart of Birmingham on October 26th starting at 7pm.
There will be a masterclass and performance by renowned fingerstyle guitarist Stuart Ryan, plus a special and rare appearance by “Mr Takamine” Makoto Terasaki.
Makoto is Takamine’s chief designer and also regularly visits legendary players and sets up their guitars. Owners of Takamine Guitars are welcome to bring along their own guitar to have it checked over and fine-tuned by one of the world’s greatest luthiers!Guests attending the event can expect an exhilarating mix of performance, technique and insight and are sure to leave with new ideas to bring to their playing.
